16-02-26 Announcement of a vacancy for the position of a Mufti at the Muftiate of Xanthi

The Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports announces the filling of one (1) position of a Mufti at the Muftiate of Xanthi, located in the Regional Unit of Xanthi.

The Mufti shall be appointed for a five-year term, which may be renewed once. The Mufti’s responsibilities and duties are those specified in article 146 of Law 4964/2022 (A’ 150), in conjunction with articles 24–28 of Law 3528/2007 (A’ 26), as currently in force.

The announcement specifies the required qualifications for appointment, additional qualifications, the way to prove qualifications, the deadline and procedure for the submission of applications, the necessary supporting documents, the impediments and incompatibilities for appointment to the position of Mufti, as well as the selection and installation of the Mufti.

The deadline for the submission of applications is strict, beginning the day after the announcement is published in the press and ending ten (10) working days after the final publication in the press.
